At Middlestead Mortgage, we think it’s important for
you to know about our family. We are a family-based
business and we think that is one of the most important
parts of our company. Everyone becomes part of the
“family” when they do a loan with us.

Jeff and I got married in June of 2003 and worked for
competing mortgage companies at that time. We knew
that some day we would like to own our own company
and one of the first things we agreed on was that we
didn’t want to be like any other mortgage company out
there. We started Middlestead Mortgage with the under-
standing that everyone would feel as if they were family,
including our employees. Our staff follows the same
philosophy we have and that makes us successful.

When we do your mortgage, no matter what type of
loan it is, we will be honest and upfront about the entire
process. We promise to get you the best rates we can at
the most affordable cost and we make sure to inform
you along the way. We are all available via cell phones
and you have access to us for a large majority of each
day. If there’s a problem along the way, we talk you
about it and we solve
things together.

When your loan is ready to close, we are there. A number
of loan officers do not attend their closings…we do. We
think that it’s important to make sure everything is right
and that you understand the process and that we are all
on the same page.

After the loan is complete and you’re ready to leave the building, we are still here. We keep your name and loan information close at hand and should rates improve or a new product, which would better suit you, becomes available, we will call you. Would you bank or credit union do that? No. Once your loan is complete, you become a number and a monthly payment to them. Not with us. Our success comes from referrals and if we take care of you, you in turn would trust your family and friends with us. The more in our family, the better.

Isn’t that truly what success is all about…taking care of your family the best you can? I know that’s what our son, Bryce, will be taught as he grows.
